To support Compliance department in all its activities and tasks under the supervision of a senior officer

Key Accountabilities

Support for Vendor Approval Request

  • Conduct screening and organise data for due diligence review.
  • Report and seek clearance when there are potential red flags on search subjects. Highlight and escalate areas of concern or complexity cases.
  • Track Vendor Approval Request and update the Vendor Approval Request Log.
  • Ensure the required annual Anti-Corruption Compliance Certification, Policy and Training Program for the approved third-party intermediary submitted and reviewed for completeness. Track annual submissions and update the approved third-party intermediary list.
  • Assist with submissions and track and update listings as per established procedures.
  • Compile and consolidate the Vendor Approval Requests Quarterly Report for submission.
  • Extract vendor vetting documents from the database and forward them to other related entities.

Training

  • Assist the Compliance Manager to develop or update training materials.
  • Lead and support the achievement of high completion rate for all training.
  • Conduct the training course(s) and collect feedback to improve future training.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Training Tracking

  • Training Database – maintain user profiles for employees and contracted personnel.
  • Training Campaign – monitor and follow up with employees and their respective supervisors to ensure employees and contracted personnel complete the assigned training by due date.
  • Compile and submit the Weekly Training Status Report and highlight the exception, if any.
  • Implement and conduct the training course(s) and collect feedback to improve future training.
  • Compile and submit Training Summary Report for each training course and highlight exceptions, if any

Administration

  • Organise and file Compliance department’s emails and documents in systematic manner and ensure that the data is accurate and updated for easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist in the gathering of information/emails and documents in response to auditing and regulatory requests.
  • Assist in any ad-hoc and compliance related duties or projects as needed.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting (Audit) or Law with keen interest and passion for Compliance work.
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar capacity.
  • Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Fluent in oral and written English language.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Technical Competencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
