1. Overall Job Purpose

1.1 - Responsible for carrying out the identification of suitable suppliers, conduct the quotation process, negotiate and prepare bids and define suggestions for a better acquisition for the company.

2. Core Responsibilities

2.1 - Develop new suppliers (local and external), aiming mainly at covering our demand and meeting contractual issues regarding Local Content.

2.2 - Ensure that the procurement processes are properly made and, in the time, and quality required by the customer.

2.3 - Contribute with the expediting of POs and Contracts in order that the acquisitions can proceed in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions.

2.4 - Establish reliable lines of contact with field management team to ensure that all field purchase orders are accurate

2.5 - Negotiate terms of agreements, price, delivery terms, quality, etc to achieve the best deal for MOSEN.

2.6 - Contribute to the optimization of expenses (budget), through high performance and efficient negotiations.

2.7 - Have knowledge and perform the respective tasks of the department according to the processes described in the IMS, communicating your management about divergence of practice x theory for necessary adjustments.

2.8 - To be aligned with Company Objectives, Policies, Procedures and integration with Clients, Community, Suppliers and MOSEN respective Team.

2.9 - Keeps tracks on supplier´s performance, for sake of follow up and to be sure that the service level meets MOSEN requirements.

6. Job Challenges and Problem Solving

6.1 - Find/develop qualified local suppliers with scope to act as demanded by our operation, in order to attend agreed Local Content policy.

6.2 - Maintain a close relationship with the client and ensure the sending of requested reports and KPIs periodically, ensuring them visibility and transparency in our process

7. Qualifications & Experience

7.1 - Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree (Administration | Engineering | Logistics | International Relations | Accounting or a related field)

7.2 Certifications:

N/A

7.3 Relevant Experience:

At least 5 years of experience as a Buyer

7.4 Key Behaviors:
