Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining Project AVEVA Net/AIM and ISM instances. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in Project data capture, verification, and handover.
Core Responsibilities
2.1 Be the Single Point of Contact for all matters related to setting up, maintaining, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting the AVEVA NET system deployed on all MODEC
2.2 Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations, and the construction team. Meet or, where possible, exceed on-time deliverables while maintaining quality and safety in each activity.
2.3 Establish and maintain the creation of a Class Library and define its structure and mapping techniques in ISM.
2.4 Develop efficient data capture, validation, loading and handover work processes to meet Client/Project schedule requirements.
2.5 Establish new project portals that effectively reflect client/project class libraries, data structure, and handover requirements.
2.6 Ongoing Gateway configuration, maintenance, and development of AVEVA NET portals.
2.7 Generation of Query Forms, SSRS and BI reports communicating data discrepancies, omissions, completion trending and status
2.8 Raise the profile of information management and create a data-centric culture via effective portal development and deployment.
2.9 Shall be capable of developing work instructions for users of AVEVA NET.
2.10 Must understand company goals and implement management directives and policies.
2.11 Anticipate potential problems and take preventive actions.
2.12 Support the Product Manager in planning and delivering AVEVA NET solutions on projects.
2.13 Shall train the MODEC users on the AVEVA NET application in projects.
2.14 Interface with all disciplines to clarify/explain AVEVA NET intent and suggest alternatives when
2.15 Contribute to continuous improvement of company work methodology/procedures.
2.16 Conclude all open issues amicably.
Work Relationships
5.1 Reports to the EDS Section lead, who provides general guidance and corporate support.
5.2 Works closely with the AVEVA application engineers, E3D administrators, and the IM team to
ensure the smooth execution and delivery of AVEVA NET solutions on projects.
5.3 works with the AVEVA support center to assist in fault diagnosis and deployment of fixes in support
of implementation work
5.4 Interact with pre-ops/Operations/Clients as required.
5.5 Guide Applications Engineers and inform appropriate parties at the proper time.
5.6 Understand interface issues related to AVEVA Engineering systems and actively manage them.
5.7 Develop relationships with client technical or service personnel and encourage feedback from all
directions.
Educational Qualification:
Certification(s): Training in AVEVA NET administration
Relevant Experience:
a) 5 years’ experience applying AVEVA NET in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas areas or FPSO line(s).
b) AVEVA NET/AIM and AVEVA ISM administration and implementation.
c) Be fully proficient in exception handling between the AVEVA system with associated Gateways and the Client system
d) Have extensive knowledge of AVEVA registers gateway interface with Client system
e) Experience in mapping Company data and document structures to Client structures. Have an in-depth understanding of FEED & Detailed Design deliverables, their execution methodology and their interdependencies with one another.
f) Have previous experience in engineering information management.
g) Possess previous experience with AVEVA Net Portal and ISM development and administration skills on Oil & Gas Projects, specifically for Major Capital Projects.
h) Knowledge of Engineering Design software like AVEVA E3D and AVEVA Engineering is a plus.
i) Possesses good working knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry, including EPCs and owner operators (preferred but not mandatory).
