The Senior Buyer is responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials and services, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met. This role leads complex sourcing requests, manages strategic suppliers, and drives continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and Excel/data skills.
- SAP desirable
- 5+ years of procurement/buying experience, including complex negotiations and contract management.
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas or Energy Industries.
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Availability for occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and SLAs to achieve best value and mitigate risk.
- Manage supplier relationships: performance reviews, corrective actions, and strategic development.
- Create and manage purchase orders; expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or delays.
- Analyze spend and cost drivers; implement savings initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
