Responsibilities:
This role is to perform assigned project/proposal Quantity Surveying activities with administrative of Pre and Post-Subcontracts (e.g. Major FPSO Fabrication Subcontracts of Hull, Topside and Integration Related activities)

  • Responsible for Bid proposals support including RFP (Request For Proposal) evaluation and Unit rate comparison, evaluation of pricing table, etc.
  • Responsible for preparing and evaluating a job-specific Pricing Schedule and Method of Measurement Prior to Subcontract award.
  • Responsible for carrying out Re-measurement Quantity verifications against to IFC -Drawings submitted by Subcontractor / Fabricator at job execution stage.
  • Responsible for Cost estimating related to Change works and Assessment of Subcontractor's Change works request (CR) / proposal.
  • Responsible for Change works management including miscellaneous works such as Modifications, Re-works, Reimbursable, Custom clearance documents verifications at Job execution stage.
  • Preparing monthly cost forecast based on Engineering WCR/MTO versus contractual provisional quantities at job execution stage.
  • Responsible for reviewing Site Instructions (SI) to ensure SI being issued for non-base scope items and construction progress related expediting purposes.
  • Tracking SI /CR/CO Log and periodical reporting to PMT, Project Controls , Site management and including Project Lead QS at job execution stage.
  • Preparing / Tracking Vendor, Subcontractor related back charges and coordinating with respective PIC to ensure cost being retrieved.

  • Responsible for Final Change cost negotiation with subcontractor and assist Project Lead QS, Site management and PMT for final account close out at Job execution stage.
  • Final Material reconciliation against free issued materials quantities versus as-built quantities and evaluate related cost differences at job execution stage
  • Safe keep project's Quantity surveyor related data.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Engineering Diploma, Marine Degree / Diploma Graduates or Oil & Gas related Bachelor of Engineering Degree / Diploma is essential.

Experiences:
Minimum 5-8 of Experiences for Snr. QS and 8-15 of Experiences for Leas QS in Oil & Gas especially FPSO shipbuilding or Shipyard experiences.

Certification(s): (Preferred but not required)
Microsoft Office / AutoCAD / Primavera Training Certificates
