1 Overall Job Purpose
Learn, develop and attain understanding of how to safely Operate and carry out first line maintenance activities as directed by relevant Discipline Supervisor on the FPSO process and utilities plant in a safe and efficient manner, being aware of safety of others, effective utilisation of FPSO systems and processes related to FPSO operations, ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements and in line with the 35 x Performance standards/associated assurance tasks.
Assists as part of development to carry out first line maintenance activities for Topsides and Engine room/Utilities as directed by relevant Maintenance Technician I and Discipline Supervisor on the FPSO as outlined in PD below.
Learn to and carry out preventative maintenance and repair work, shutdowns, isolations and planned maintenance in accordance with the CMMS ensuring.
2 Core Responsibilities
Key Areas of activity
• Facility Management Systems Maintenance, Standards and Procedures
• PTW System Maintenance
• CMMS Maintenance activities and improvements and purchasing activities:
• Shutdown and Major Maintenance
These activities include but are not limited to:
• Carry out planned preventative and remedial maintenance as described in maintenance management system work instructions
• Conduct weekly monitoring checks on safety and production critical equipment, reporting any deviation of set parameters and raise work orders in maintenance management system
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all vessel equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly. Ensure critical spares are available and any discrepancies are addressed
• Complete and maintain all documentation associated with Electrical Maintenance engineering as required for all maintenance operational work activities
• Provide Engineering Maintenance support to achieve and maintain the technical and performance integrity of the FPSO Facility
• Complete all work activities in accordance with the Facility standards, Facility Management procedures and specifications

5 Work Relationships
The incumbent will be required to work with direct supervision.
The incumbent will be guided by Discipline Electrical Technician I/HOD/Direct functional manager on FPSO.
Shall be coached and mentored by others in performing Maintenance in line with and adhere to all legislative, environmental and company standards and procedures.

7 Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
High school / technical college diploma
Certification(s):
• City & Guilts (C&G) /National Certificate (ONC)/Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent Electrical background.
Relevant Experience:
• 0-2 years offshore oil and gas or relevant industry experience
• HV/LV electrical generation, transformation and distribution plant experience
• Rotating Equipment Experience, with Knowledge of electrical generation, transformation and distribution systems
• Knowledge of HV/LV switchgear, motors, heaters and transformers
• Knowledge of UPS, electrical control, power management and protection systems
• Maintenance Management systems Experience
Language(s) and Software:
• English language
• Knowledge of MS Office
